An unforgettable bike trip around the Cape of South Africa awaits you. Impressive mountain ranges, rock formations, endless landscapes & bushveld as well as an endless trail network through the most beautiful wine regions in South Africa. All this forms the most beautiful conditions in this varied bike Mecca. We start our first tours from our base north of Cape Town. The hospitality and the culinary delights also make this trip something very special. We are guests of Carmen and Bernd. They have lived there for over twenty years and form a top team with courteous hospitality.

Day 1 & 2: Durbanville and surroundings – 07/08/11/2022 Accommodation: SURF & BIKE Dinner: SURF & BIKE Transfer from the airport to the Surf & Bike House. Upon arrival at the lodge, set up the bikes. In the afternoon small test ride on a short singletrack loop in the Durbanville area. Lots of singletrack fun awaits us at the picturesque Meerendal winery and a ride on the new pump track. At the top of Dorstberg we have a fantastic 360 degree view of sights such as Table Mountain and Robben Island. The next day Bernd enjoys his home territory. The created Tygerberg Trails extend over several farms and form a network of more than 120 km of MTB fun. Rocky trails, jeep tracks and flowy switchbacks dominate the area.

Day 3: Stellenbosch Trails / Boschendal – 09.11.2022 Accommodation: Old MacDaddy Dinner: Old MacDaddy "Inferno, Sugar Bowl and Porcupine" - a selection of single tracks by Boschendal - one of the most famous wineries in the Cape. The flowing trails are characterized by sweeping berms, camel backs, table tops and gap jumps - both for beginners and advanced. Then transfer to Old MacDaddy in Elgin.

Day 4 & 5: Lebanon Trails – Elgin, Grabouw – 10/11/11/2022 Accommodation: Old MacDaddy Dinner: Old MacDaddy Here we enjoy endless flow trails on the trail of Cape Epic. In and around the apple and wine plantations of Old MacDaddy we enjoy the finest trails. Then we let ourselves be spoiled with culinary delights after a great bike day. On day 5 after breakfast transfer back to Cape Town.

Day 5: Cape Town / Table Mountain, Botanical Gardens – 11/11/2022 Accommodation: SURF & BIKE Dinner: SURF & BIKE Today we "climb" Table Mountain in an easy 3-4 hour hike. The starting point is one of the most important botanical gardens in the world in Kirstenbosch. The panorama is indescribable, the experience is a must for all South Africa lovers.

Day 6: Tygerberg Trails / Contermanskloof – 11/12/2022 Accommodation: SURF & BIKE Dinner: SURF & BIKE Contermanskloof is part of the Durbanville wine country's landscaped singletrack trails.

Day 7: Cape Point Nature Reserve – 11/13/2022 Accommodation: SURF & BIKE Dinner: SURF & BIKE Today we give our legs a break. Anyone who wants to visit in an individual way the Cape of Good Hope and the penguins at Boulders Beach in Simons Town.

Day 8: Foodie / City Tour - 11/14/2022 Accommodation: SURF & BIKE Dinner: SURF & BIKE The Condé Nast Traveler website describes Cape Town as follows: "In Cape Town 'local rules', the Mother City is on the small side, casual but extremely stylish and welcoming. Words that apply to both the foodie scene and its people". We couldn't put it better. Here we visit the famous Saturday market at the Old Biscuit Mill. After the Neighborhood Goods Market, visit the Waterfront.

Day 9: Rhebokskloof / Wellington - 11/15/2022 Accommodation: Wellington Dinner: Canetsfontein/ Stone Kitchen Named by some as the «Best Single Trails in the Western Cape». Single trail fun followed by lunch at the Rhebokskloof winery - the transfer to Wellington takes us to the next guesthouse where we stay overnight.

Day 10: Wellington Trails / Welvanpas – 11/16/2022 Accommodation: Wellington Dinner: Canetsfontein/ Stone Kitchen "Super G, Lord of the Rings and WTF" - to name some of the singletrack at Welvanpas. The Welvanpastrail with endless single tracks starts from the wine farm of the same name and leads us through orchards, vineyards and untouched protea fields. Passing waterfalls to the top of the Groenberg, followed by a steep descent to the Kromme river.

Day 11: Wellington Trails / Welvanpas – 11/17/2022 Accommodation: Kaleo Guest Farm Dinner: Kaleo Guest Farm Today there are single trails a gogo with 75% of them! The second part of the route takes us towards the Bainskloof Pass and from there back to the farm. Varied single tracks set in the steep slopes of the Bainskloof foothills. Evening transfer from Wellington to Eselsfontein.

Day 12: Cederberg & Kaleo 11/18/2022 Accommodation: Kaleo Guest Farm Dinner: Kaleo Guest Farm This route rocks. Two days of adventure in the Koue Bokkeveld Mountains, the mountain range that connects Ceres to Citrusdal. MTB insiders call the 45 km single track velocipede ecstasy. Enjoy the endless starry sky in front of the fire in the evening and put your feet up - the True African Experience.

Day 13: Cederberg & Kaleo – 11/19/2022 Accommodation: SURF & BIKE Dinner: SURF & BIKE You will hardly find anyone here, the trails are off the beaten track, the views are fantastic, and the rock formations are impressive. Transfer back to Cape Town.

Day 14: Beach Day – 11/20/2022 Accommodation: SURF & BIKE Dinner: Last Evening Dinner - Cape Town Today Beachlive is planned with the option "beginner's surf course" or just enjoy the beach.

Day 15 Departure – 11/21/2022 Today we enjoy the last breakfast in the Surf & Bike House with homemade bread and muesli before we start our journey home or onward.
